As part of the Acadian Harvest Festival at the Farmers’ Bank of Rustico Museum, an evening of informatio­n, presented by two committee members of the 2019 Haché-Gallant Reunion, is planned for Thursday, Sept. 20.

The presentati­on, given by Tilmon and Ron Gallant, will begin at 7:30 p.m.

They will give an overview of the up-coming World Acadian Congress in August 2019, the activities involved and the focus on a great number of family reunions taking place in Prince Edward Island and southeaste­rn New Brunswick.

An emphasis will be placed on the Haché-Gallant family reunion, its location, dates and the activities which will be offered.

An invitation goes to all Haché and Gallant families, young and old, to join together during two days of celebratio­n at SkmaqnPort-LaJoye-Fort-Amherst during which there will be an opportunit­y to trace family roots, attend conference­s and be entertaine­d.

The museum is located at 2188 Church Rd., Route 243 off Route 6, in Rustico.

The Farmers’ Bank of Rustico Museum is wheelchair-accessible and air-conditione­d.
