The funeral for Patricia I. Brennan of MacLeod Care Clinton View Lodge Clinton and formerly of Kensington was held Wednesday September 26, 2018 from the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington to St. Mary’s Holy Family Church Kensington where the service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. by Father Frank Jay. The first reading was given by Susan Ashley. The second reading was given by Aldona Jollimore. The Prayers of the Faithful were offered by Christopher Croken. Remembrances were shared by Carol Evans. The Opening Hymn was Here I Am, Lord. The Responsorial Psalm, The Lord is My Shepherd was led by Betty Pickering. Soloist Nancy Murphy rendered the Offertory Hymn, Gentle Women. Communion Hymn was Amazing Grace. Soloist, Kirk Neville rendered the post Communion Hymn On Eagles Wings. Song of Farewell was Songs of the Angels. Closing hymn was How Great Thou Art. Organist was Kirk Neville. Altar servers were Clair MacLellan, Peter McCarville, James MacLellan and Erskine Ashley. Eucharistic minister was Audrey Glover. Attending the funeral were representatives of Kensington Meals on Wheels, MacLeod Care Clinton View Lodge and Staff of Anne of Green Gables Chocolates. Pallbearers were Michael Croken, Chad Crant, Ivan Gallant, Harvey Wedge, John Andrew MacKinnon and Rowan Caseley. Flowerbearers were Betty Gallant, Anne Cousins, Carol Evans, Cindy McGuirk, Aldona Jollimore and Debbie MacPhail. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River.
