BOLGER Alice
A service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Alice Bolger, wife of the late Thomas Bolger, was held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from Belvedere Funeral Home to Church of the Holy Redeemer where the mass was presided over by Father John Lacey, who proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The pall was placed on the casket by grandsons; Jaidinh CoombesBolger and Matthew Cole. The readings were proclaimed by Sister Kathleen Bolger, CSM and Cynthia Lawlor. Deborah Roberts led the Assembly in the Prayers of the Faithful. The Eucharistic Ministers were Sister Rita Kelly, CSM and Debbie Gauthier. Words of remembrance were shared by son-in-law Michael Coombes. The organist was Gary Cudmore. During the mass the church choir, under the direction of song leader Tom Wilkinson, sang I Will Never Forget You, The Lord is My Shepherd, Alleluia, On Eagle’s Wings, and Songs of the Angels. Tom Wilkinson sang Ave Maria and the congregational hymns were One Love Released and We Shall Go Out. Honorary pallbearers were the staff of The Mount Continuing Care Community and all present. Pallbearers were family and friend; Donna Bolger, Kathleen Bolger-Cole, Joey Bolger, Michael Coombes, Robert Cole, Matthew Cole and Glen Roberts. Interment took place in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Following the interment, everyone was invited to join the family for a reception at the Belvedere Reception Centre.
