MacPherson Roche Smith joins Grant Thornton LLP

The professional services firm Grant Thornton LLP has acquired MacPherson Roche Smith, a long-standing Charlottetown-based public accounting and consulting firm.

MacPherson Roche Smith has been serving businesses and individuals on P.E.I. for more than 40 years. It focuses on ownermanaged enterprises across a range of sectors including retail, food and beverage, hospitality, manufacturing and processing.

The acquisition adds 25 employees to Grant Thornton, including five senior leaders.
