MCCOURT, Gregory Louis

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, of Greg McCourt, beloved husband of Ida McCourt (nee Gallant), of Kingston, aged 53. Greg was the son of Frances McCourt and the late Louis McCourt; and loving father to Mallory, Riley and Rielle. He is also survived by his sister and brothers, Sherry McCourt (Perry), Paul (Lisa), Mark, Ian (Debbie) and Darcy (Tabitha); sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Nantes (Des), Bill Robertson, Ricky Gallant (Audrey), Mary Alice MacDonald (Preston), Frankie Gallant (Theresa), Shirley Gallant (Gerry), Jerry Gallant (Alice), Johnny Gallant (Patti), Denis Gallant and Ernie Gallant (Faye); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his father Louis, Greg was predeceased by his parents-in-law, Leo and Irene Gallant; nephew, Jarrett Coles; brother-in-law, Tony Gallant; and sister-in-law, Leona Robertson. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 4 -7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Cornwall, on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Martin of Tours and St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland.
