HENNESSEY, Jordon Michael
The funeral for Jordon Michael Hennessey was held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer where the funeral mass was celebrated by Reverend Danny Wilson who also delivered the homily. The funeral pall was placed on the casket by Jordon’s parents Mike and Estelle and sisters Samantha and Emily. The lessons were read by his aunt Cathy Callaghan and Tim MacKenzie. The prayers of intercession were offered by his uncle Joe Callaghan. The funeral mass was sung by The Holy Redeemer Church Choir under the direction of Mary Morrison. The organist was Gary Cudmore. During the mass the choir sang the processional hymn, Here I Am Lord and the recessional hymn, Be Exalted Oh God. Soloist Flora Ann Whitty sang the offertory hymn, For Those Tears I Died and the meditation hymn, Hallelujah. Also, David Rashed and Anne Marie Valois sang the Communion hymn, Lord, I Need You. The pallbearers were Jonathan Bouchey, Patrick Callaghan, Connor Hennessey, Dylan Hennessey, Conor Hennessey, Steve Shales and Cody MacRae. The honorary pallbearers were everyone in attendance. The interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Among those in attendance were representatives of Cavendish Farms Management team, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Family and Human Services, Queen Elizabeth Hospital nursing staff, and the Charlottetown Fire Department. Members of the Charlottetown Fire Department held an honour guard outside the church following the funeral mass.
