Community A seniors roast turkey dinner

is being put on by the Seniors Group of Holy Redeemer on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 4:30 p.m., at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre on Pond Street, Charlottet­own. The price is $13. The P.E.I. Scottish Settlers Historical Society

will hold its annual meeting on Monday, Nov. 5, 7-9 p.m., at SDU Place, Charlottet­own. The AGM will be followed by a talk and Powerpoint on a First World War nurse. Use the lower back door entrance off of King Street. Visitors are welcome.
