Fundraisers A pancake breakfast

will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 8-10:30 a.m., at Murphy’s Community Centre, 200 Richmond St., Charlottetown. The cost is $6 for an all-you-can-eat breakfast. Help support Special Olympics central athletes and enrich the lives of Islanders with an intellectual disability through sport. Parkdale-Sherwood Lions Club is partnering in this event.

The annual VRC Volunteer Awards Breakfast

is Saturday, Nov. 10, 8:30 a.m., at the Farm Centre in Charlottetown. Enjoy breakfast prepared by chef Emily Wells and recognize seven outstanding volunteers in P.E.I.’s non-profit work. The vent is also a fundraiser for the Voluntary Resource Centre, which serves 40 community organizations. It’s the VRC’s 40th anniversary. Tickets: $30 ($10 for kids) with a tax receipt for $15.
