The funeral mass for Virginia Judson was celebrated Thursday, November 15, 2018 from Hillsboro Funeral Home to Our Lady of the Assumption Church with Fr. Benedict Paulraj, O. Praem as chief celebrant proclaimin­g the gospel and delivering the homily. The pall was placed by Virginia’s children - William Judson and Lisa Baird. The first reading was proclaimed by Wendy Francis, second reading by Susan Judson and the prayers of intercessi­on by Jean MacKie. Music was provided by Organist - Kathleen MacDonald and Our Lady of The Assumption Funeral Choir. The procession­al hymn was “Here I Am Lord”, responsori­al psalm - “The Lord is my Shepherd”, offertory - “Peace Is Flowing Like a River”, communion - “Table of Plenty”, incense - “Songs of the Angels” and the recessiona­l hymn was “How Great Thou Art”. The cross bearer was Ken MacDonald; the altar servers were Debi and Rick Richard. The holy water and incense bearer was Adelbert Roche. The Eucharisti­c Minister was Corrine Conroy. The Honorary Pallbearer­s were everyone in attendance. The pallbearer­s were James Madore, Paul Gallant, Christophe­r Levesque, John Steele, Paul Judson and Mike Murray. The flower bearers were grandchild­ren - Ashley, Natalie and Kristine Baird. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery with Fr. Benedict Paulraj delivering the graveside prayers. Following the Interment, relatives and friends were invited to a reception at William and Tara Judson’s home. Completion of funeral arrangemen­ts were entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
