The funeral for Patricia Bradley was held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottet­own Funeral Home to St. Michael’s Church, Corran Ban where the concelebra­ted funeral mass was offered by Father Gerard Chaisson as chief celebrant and homilist. He was assisted by Father Keith Kennific. The funeral pall was placed on Patricia’s casket by daughter Anita Bradley and granddaugh­ter Jennifer Bradley. The first reading was proclaimed by daughter Florrie MacLeod and the second reading was proclaimed by Farley Chatto. The prayers of the faithful were offered by granddaugh­ters, Rachel Richenback, Sophie Wellman and Anna Mae MacLeod. The funeral mass was sung by St. Michael’s Parish Choir under the direction of Joan MacDougall. The organist was Catherine MacDonald. They sang the entrance hymn, You Are Near, the communion hymn, Gather Us Together, the meditation hymn, Hail Mary, Gentle Woman and the recessiona­l hymn, How Great Thou Art. The offertory hymn, O God of Loveliness was rendered by the Bradley Family. The gifts were brought to the altar by sons, Gerald and John Bradley. Eucharisti­c minister was daughter Beth Mullen. Altar servers were Elmer MacDougall, Vince McIntyre and John Hughes. The pallbearer­s were grandsons, Jonathan Mullen, Brad Mullen, Frank Wellman, Charlie MacKinnon, Justin Bradley and Gregory Bradley. The flower bearers were granddaugh­ters, Jennifer Bradley, Rachel Richenback, Kathryn Woods, Sophie Wellman, Ella MacLeod and Anna Mae MacLeod. The interment took place in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery.
