Here’s a look at the must-see lineup for this week:

1. Succession

Season 2 debut

The smoke and mirrors hiding the secrets of the media and political worlds are torn down in the second season of the drama series starring Brian Cox, Alan Ruck, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin. The Roy family struggles to keep control over its media empire after its heir plotted a hostile takeover to unseat his father when Season 1 came to a close.

2. The Terror: Infamy Season 2 debut

The second season of the World War II-set supernatur­al drama will follow a JapaneseAm­erican community as they deal with the disturbing and even paranormal realities of the Japanese internment camps following Pearl Harbor. When: Monday on AMC

3. Mindhunter Season 2

David Fincher’s true crime series returns as FBI Agent Holden Ford and Agent Bill Tench enlist the help of Dr. Wendy Carr to investigat­e the infamous Atlanta Child Murders of the late 1970s as they come face-to-face with Charles Manson. Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany star. When: Friday on Netflix

4. Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready

Comedy’s It-Girl, Tiffany Haddish has curated a new stand-up special featuring six of her favourite comics, including April Macie, Tracey Ashley, Flame Monroe, Marlo Williams and Aida Rodriguez. When: Tuesday on Netflix

5. Jim Gaffigan: Quality Time

Comedy Special

In March, Jim Gaffigan filmed a performanc­e at the State Theatre in Minneapoli­s and he’s delivered it in the form of his seventh comedy special. He’ll tackle topics such as lying to children, his fluctuatin­g weight, etc.

6. Lodge 49

Season 2 debut

The mystical series returns as Wyatt Russell reprises his role as California­n surfer Dud, who attempts to piece his life back together following the death of his father.

7. Our Boys Mini-series

This 10-part series was filmed in Israel and based on the true events that led to the war in Gaza. The drama follows the investigat­ion of Mohammed Abu Khdeir’s murder and tells the story of those whose lives were changed. When: Monday on HBO Canada
