Ceilidhs are Fridays at St. Peters Circle Club, St. Peters, 7:30-11 p.m.

A ceilidh is at the Emerald Boxcar Pub & Grill Community Centre, Aug. 30, 7:30 p.m., hosted by Courtney Hogan with guests Jonny Ray Arsenault and Keelin Wedge. Food and drinks and 50/50 tickets will be available at 5:30 p.m.

Ceilidh with a twist is Aug. 30, 7:30 p.m., at the Murray Harbour Community Centre. The lineup includes Darren and Alex Jackson,

Amy Swensen, Mel Giddings, Kenny Chapman, (Killick Junction) with Wayne MacLean, Edna McMaster, Len Buell and Urban Chiasson, Kathy Vanasse, Lonnie Atkinson, Marie MacIntire, Harold Green, Louis MacKay and a few other surprises. Admission includes a light lunch.

The Stanley Bridge Ceilidh comes to town for the Ceilidh at the Irish Hall in the Katherine Hughes Memorial Hall, Irish Cultural Centre, Aug. 30, 8 p.m., featuring Michael Pendergast, Tom McSwiggan and Andy Doucette. Sixth annual Guild Gone

Wild show is Sept. 2, 7:30-10 p.m. at The Guild, an evening of music, comedy and a celebratio­n of all the talent showcased at the Guild this summer. Come and watch The Guild staff or performers from “Anne and Gilbert”, “Singalong Jubilee”, “Meanwhile in Ward 16”, “Next Generation Legends”, “The Ross Family”, “Charlottet­own Burlesque”, “Madagascar Jr.”, “Popalopalo­ts”, “Little Mermaid Jr.” and more do a number of their choosing. The event is a fundraiser to continue efforts to support emerging and establishe­d local artists.

A bluegrass and acoustic music concert, featuring singer/songwriter, recording artist and 2017 inductee into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame, Blain Henshaw, accompanie­d by Mary Smith is Sept. 2, 7-9 p.m., at the Summerside Legion.
