The good, the bad and the guilty

The latest news from the world of the well-known

Celebrities never sleep – or so it would seem.

I sleep eight to 10 hours a night, sometimes sitting straight up with my eyes open as my husband describes his day at work to me.

Here’s what’s been happening in Hollywood.

Jennifer Lopez rocked a recreated version of her low-cut Versace dress.

Back in 2000, so many people were searching the Internet for photos of the iconic dress with only text and website links to weed through, that Google created Google Images.

Pause and let that sink in for a second: J Lo was the catalyst to us enjoying Google Images for the past 19 years.

Rihanna launched an intimates line and had one of the most diverse fashion shows ever, featuring women of all sizes, body types, and colours.

The show was filled with music, dance, fashion and art and celebrated the beauty, confidence and an unapologetic attitude of women.

“Rihanna is so much cooler than me,” I whisper into my herbal tea cup as I put a piece into my jigsaw puzzle.

Felicity Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison, one year of probation, 250 hours of community service and a fine of $30,000 for her participation in the largest college admissions scam ever.

Huffman was accused of paying $15,000 to illegally improve her daughter’s SAT scores and she was the first of more than 30 parents to be charged. Felicity Huffman will enter prison on Oct. 25.

"The Bachelor" leads apparently only come in white, as pilot Peter Weber has been announced as the season 24 lead.

Mike Johnson is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a current portfolio manager from Texas. He is trained in martial arts, is incredibly handsome, and 100 per cent should have been "The Bachelor". Fortunately, for him, he has an excellent consolation prize and it’s that he appears to be dating singer, Demi Lovato.

"The Bachelorette" contestants are enjoying their own pool of celebrity contestants, with Tyler Cameron dating supermodel Gigi Hadid and Wells Adams engaged to "Modern Family" actress, Sarah Hyland.

James Corden won a creative arts Emmy over Beyoncé, and Twitter is raging.

The tweet that sums it up is by @IvyLegion, “Beyoncé spent EVERY SINGLE DAY for 8 MONTHS right after nearly dying giving birth to TWINS rehearsing, breast-fed in between breaks, spent hours analyzing costumes & set list, training 100 dancers, & put her heart and soul on stage in a desert to lose to a carpool show.”

Even one of Beyoncé’s camera operators weighed in with, “I held a heavy ass camera and walked backwards keeping these 3 legends in frame while Dave held a carabiner on my pants to guide me… Oh and I did it going down a set of stairs.”

When will people learn that Beyoncé deserved all of the awards? Nominated or not, give it to Beyoncé. I’m going to check with her first to see if she’d like to eat the sandwich I just made, my paycheque or each of my children.
