The Church Mouse Thrift Shop at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 391 Nelson St., (TransCanada Highway), Crapaud, will be open on Fridays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon, for September. For information, contact Marion Miller at 902-658-2995.

Capture the Queen of Hearts is at the Fort Augustus Rec Centre, Fridays, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Tickets are sold until 8pm for a chance to win a growing jackpot.

An indoor fall yard and bake sale will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 14173 St. Peters Highway, Marshfield, Sept. 28, 8 a.m. to noon. Proceeds are for church endeavours, maintenance and upkeep. Enjoy delicious baked goods and find useful and fun things to take home for Thanksgiving or even Christmas.
