Fundraiser
A pancake breakfast will be at the Hunter River Lions Club on Saturday, Sept. 28, 7-10 a.m., serving sausages, pancakes, baked beans, toast and jam, tea, coffee and juice. Admission is adults, $7, families, $20.
Community
A seniors roast turkey dinner is being put on by the seniors group of Holy Redeemer, at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre on Pond Street, Charlottetown, Tuesday, Oct. 1, 4:30 p.m. The price is $14. Tickets can be reserved by calling David at 902-892-1558 by the 5 p.m. deadline on Sunday, Sept. 29. Enjoy a great meal and the company of friends.
Coffee club is Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m., at the Milton Community Hall. Enjoy coffee and snacks. Admission is a donation of coin or treats. There will be weekly sewing and craft bees held at the air-conditioned Milton Community Hall on Mondays, 1-3 p.m. Bring along a project or work on the community quilt as part of the Passing Down Traditions project.
