Red Nose Talent Show set for Nov. 16

Thirteen youth acts will take the stage at the third annual Red Nose Talent Show on Nov. 16, 7 p.m., at the Florence Simmons Performanc­e Hall on Holland College’s Prince of Wales Campus in Charlottet­own.

The talent show will be hosted by Holland College with master of ceremonies Louise Martin.

Participat­ing youth will compete for cash prizes in three categories: judges choice; people’s choice and Lisa’s choice.

The following youth will compete: Brooke and Ellie Vessey; Phoebe LeClair; Abby and Hannah Rogers; Jensen Wood; Jaiden Encina; Dawson and Gilbert Arsenault; Nate and Jevon Gamble; Liz Wheeler, Lateisha Gallant; Abi McCarthy; Alexis MacLaren and Addyson Roger and the 24Strong Jr. Dance Company and Krysten Cameron.

Kiersten Jackson and Brennan Gallant, previous winners, will open the show. Jack Flanagan will give a special performanc­e as will Ava and Lily Rashed.

Students from the Holland College School of Performing Arts will entertain guests at in the lobby during intermissi­on. Kinley Dowling and Tara MacLean will be the celebrity guest judges.

This event is in memory of Lisa Carragher, with proceeds going to the Canadian Mental Health Associatio­n, P.E.I. division. Tickets are $20 for adults (18 years and older) and $10 for children and youth.
