STRICTER RULES NEEDED FOR ADOPTING ANIMALS

-

The abandonment of animals in places across the world is still a major problem today.

You can find stray animals in ditches or roaming the sides of busy streets almost everywhere you go. This is devastating to see, especially knowing they are in rough shape and have been left there to die. People need to realize that animals have feelings too and that they can hurt just as bad as us humans. If you would not want a human to suffer through cruelty like that, then why would you do it to a poor animal? These animals go through so much suffering every day for things that they definitely do not deserve.

There needs to be stricter rules and regulations when it comes to adopting animals so that awful people cannot just dump them on the sides of the road without bigger, and more serious consequences. There is not enough room in animal shelters to care for all of these animals that are being abandoned anymore, and because of this, the animals are just left out to wander. The rules that are in place for this issue are clearly not enough because there is still so much wrong involving animal abandonment around the world today that needs to be dealt with.

With stricter rules surrounding the care of animals, there would be less cases of people trying to abandon them in harsh ways like they do now. This issue could easily be put to rest if people raised greater awareness for it and stressed how serious it really is.

It is time for better action to be taken so that we do not have to see so many animals go through all the pain and suffering of being abandoned. This problem needs to be ended once and for all.
