LAMBERT HEADLINING CBMF 2020

Country superstar will be joined by Dan + Shay as first two acts confirmed for Cavendish event

Grammy award-winners Miranda Lambert and Dan + Shay will headline the 12th annual Cavendish Beach Music Festival next summer.

Lambert will hit the main stage on Friday, July 10, while Dan + Shay will close out Atlantic Canada’s largest multi-day outdoor music festival on Sunday, July 12.

Cavendish Beach Music Festival (CBMF) will run July 10-12, 2020.

“We’re excited to roll out another very exciting lineup for our 12th year,” said Jeff Squires, president of Whitecap Entertainment, producers of the annual event.

“To have been recognized for the second year in a row with CCMA Festival/Event of The Year and to continue bringing new talent and experiences year after year, we couldn’t be more excited for the 2020 festival.”

Lambert, the most decorated artist in the history of the Academy of Country Music, has released six studio albums that all debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts, including the critically acclaimed double record The Weight of These Wings (2016), Platinum (2014), Four The Record (2011),Revolution (2009), Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007) and Kerosene (2005). In addition, she released three albums with her trio, the Pistol Annies.

With six No. 1 hits, six platinum singles and over two billion on-demand career streams, Dan + Shay have already headlined U.S. and U.K. tours in 2019, where they performed their most recent chart-topper, “All To Myself,” their 2x-Platinum, multi-week No. 1 single “Speechless”, and the most-streamed song released in 2018, multi-Platinum, multi-week No.1 global smash, “Tequila.”

All three are featured on Dan + Shay, which has sold more than one million album equivalents and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

Their catalogue comprises three albums, including “Where It All Began”, “Obsessed” and Dan + Shay.

Tickets and camping packages go on sale on Dec. 3 at 10 a.m.
