SUMMERSIDE - A variety concert is set to come to Trinity United Church in Summerside Jan. 19.

The concert will feature performers such as Jeannie Campbell and Charles Reid, Parker Murray, Keelin Wedge and Not All There Band.

Murray is a piccolo bass player who has performed across P.E.I. He covers blues to pop music through his original songs. The Grade 12 student at Three Oaks Senior High School also plays bass guitar, drums and piano all of which can be heard on his 12-12 song album released under the name Dawn Parker.

Wedge started music lessons at age five and hasn't stopped playing music since.

She is currently a member of the P.E.I. band Fiddlers’ Sons. Wedge is one of the most accomplished fiddlers, musicians and singers to come out of Western P.E.I. The St. Louis native blends a mix of fiddle, guitar, bass, mandolin, drums and singing, and the high energy performer also step dances and plays in several bands with several ranges of music genres.

Campbell and Reid bring an eclectic musical mix to the stage with songs ranging from old country to new and classic rock to originals.

Meanwhile, Not All There

Band has been performing at ceilidhs and kitchen parties for nearly 25 years now and, still, you never know who may or may not be there for a gig. The core group consists of Gary Arsenault, Mike Johnston, Romona Roberts and Wendell Cameron and whoever else shows up.

Doors open at 1:15 p.m. and admission is $12. Advance tickets are available at the church office at 90 Spring St. in Summerside during regular business hours for $10 each or from Wendell Cameron at 902-9541235.
