Promote gender equality and sustainable development goals and celebrate International Development Week with the Atlantic Council for International Co-operation at a panel discussion, Together Towards Gender Equality: Working Locally and Globally, on Feb. 4, 4 p.m., in the AVC Atrium, UPEI. Speakers include Jane Ledwell, Judy Clark, Jennifer Taylor, Jean Mitchell, Janis MacLellanPeters, and Karla Bernard. Cochairs are Susan Hartley and Ann Wheatley. This is a free event. Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole
Crokinole and cards are played Wednesdays, 1-3:30 p.m., at the New London Community Complex. There is a $4 admission and light refreshments. Call Jennifer, 902886-2599.
Scrabble is played at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, Wednesdays, 1 p.m.
Dunstaffnage Seniors will host crokinole games at Dunstaffnage School Centre on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Auction/45s is at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, Charlottetown, Wednesdays 1:30 p.m. Admission is $2. There will also be a 50/50 draw.
Card games are at St. Francis church hall in Cornwall on Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. Enjoy a night of fun with friends and neighbours. Lunch and tea are provided. No partner is required.
Card parties (45s) are in St. Teresa’s in the church activity room, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. The game is being played as singles, so a partner is not necessary. There is a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch.
St. Pius X Church Knights of Columbus cribbage is Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., in the basement of St. Pius X Church, St. Peter’s Road, Charlottetown, with prize, a loonie pot and a 50/50 draw. Bring a partner. Cost: $5 per person.
Kensington Lions Crib is every Tuesday at the Kensington Legion, 30 Garden Ave., 7:30 p.m.
Weekly card parties (45s singles) are at Tracadie Community Centre, Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. There is a toonie pot, and a light lunch will be served.
