Free tickets for annual Christmas concerts available today

The City of Charlottet­own is continuing its annual tradition of presenting two Christmas concerts as part of the Wintertide Holiday Festival.

Free tickets will be available beginning today.

The concerts, in support of the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle, will take place Nov. 28-29 at the Confederat­ion Centre of the Arts’ Homburg Theatre. Four concerts will be held, each one hour in length, with a capacity of 300 at each concert.

The schedule is as follows: Nov. 28: 4 p.m. – John Gracie's Once Upon a Christmas; 7:30 p.m. – A Christmas to Remember;

Nov. 29, 1 p.m. – John Gracie's Once Upon a Christmas; 4:30 p.m. – A Christmas to Remember.

John Gracie’s Once Upon a Christmas features Gracie, while A Christmas to Remember features heartwarmi­ng holiday music featuring local performers Joey Kitson, Catherine O’Brien, Caroline Bernard, Don Fraser and The Reindeer Express Band.

Free tickets will be available beginning at noon today through the Confederat­ion Centre of the Arts box office. Tickets can be reserved through the box office by calling 1-800-565-0278 or visiting the box office from Monday to Friday between noon to 5 p.m. Seating quantities are available in groups of one to four, with a maximum of four tickets per person (while quantities last).

Due to COVID-19 protocols, names and telephone numbers of individual­s using tickets must be provided at time of pick-up.

Due to the reduced number of tickets, guests are strongly encouraged to use any tickets they obtain and due to demand, return any tickets that are unable to be used to the box office as soon as possible.
