The death occurred the palliative care unit of the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, with his loving family by his side, of Wilbert Justin Hogan of Tignish, age 78 years. Beloved husband to Irene Frances (nee Getson) Hogan. Born on June 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (nee Gavin) Hogan. Loving father to Penny (Paul) Camenzuli of Pownal, Sherri Lee Hogan (Joe Corrigan) of Pleasant Grove, Pam Hogan (Pat Gaudette) of St. Felix, Jonathan (Pam) Hogan of Kildare, and Susan Hogan of Drayton Valley, Alberta. Cherished grandfathe­r to Karlee, Taylor, Cole, Kyle, Amy, Derek, Travis, Leah, Janelle, Charity, Brooke, Sydney (deceased), Chase, Kaylee, BreeAnne, Tori, Evan and C.J. Great-grandfathe­r to Kobe, Connor, Jack and Noah. Dear brother to Freda (late Adrian) Kinch, Sylvia (late Bob) MacDonald, Susan (late Ronald) Boyce, Victor (Diane) Hogan, Roy (Edith) Hogan, Brian (late Bev) Hogan, and Christine Hogan (James). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Florence Hogan, Barry Irvine, Mary Anne Getson, Don (Janet) Getson and Ivan Getson. He was predecease­d by his parents, his granddaugh­ter Sydney Gaudette, his siblings, Clifford (late Marie), Paula Irvine, Wilma (late Roger) Mallett, Richard, John Kenneth and Michael. He was also predecease­d by brothers-in-law, Albert Getson and Leigh Getson. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel, Alberton, for private family visitiaion on Saturday morning January 16, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., then to St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for a private family funeral mass at 2:00 p.m., with Rev.
