Online self-help groups
Following is a list of self-help groups on P.E.I. that are meeting virtually or in-person, with restrictions, during this time. It is provided by Individual and Family Support, a program of the Canadian Mental Health Association, P.E.I. division. If in doubt about whether a group is meeting due to Chief Public Health Office restrictions, be sure to check with a group leader in advance.

- Still Here peer support group: Check the Facebook group, CMHA Still Here Mental Health Support Group, for meeting times and discussions.
- ADHD P.E.I.: Visit the Facebook group, ADHD PEI, for virtual meeting times.
- Alcoholics Anonymous: Visit charlottetownaa.ca for list of Zoom meetings in P.E.I. locations or visit the Facebook page, PEI Recovery.
- Alcoholics Anonymous is holding virtual meetings for women in recovery. If interested, join Facebook group, PEI Women in Recovery.
- PEERS Alliance P.E.I. is holding Talk it Out discussion groups every second Tuesday for LGBTQ+ youth.

- PEERS Alliance is holding adult drop-in discussion groups for the 2SLGBTQ+ community every second Wednesday. Get in touch by emailing outreach@peersalliance.ca or join the Facebook group, Red Island Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Group.
- Winds of Change (Adult Children of Alcoholics or Family Dysfunction) is hosting in-person meetings every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Benevolent Irish Society (582 North River Rd., Charlottetown). Contact Wade, 902-2925905, or Gerry, 902-388-1284, to join.
- S-Anon Reflections of Hope is meeting online on Monday and Thursday. Contact 902-367-5310 to join.
- Hospice and palliative care grief support group is meeting via Zoom on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Contact Liz at 902-438-4231 to join. Technical support and one-on-one support are also available.
- Emotions Anonymous is hosting in-person meetings every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre (7 Pond St., Charlottetown). New members are welcome, but space is limited each week due to current physical distancing measures. Call Susan for more details at 902-218-6380.
- P.E.I. Breast Cancer Support group is meeting on the first Monday of every month, 2-3:30 p.m., at 40 Woodlawn Ave., Charlottetown (carport entrance side of the building).
