Campbell leads Knights
Liniger tallies two as Saints defeat Wild
Jude Campbell had a hat trick, including the winner, Saturday as the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Knights defeated the Mount Academy Saints under-17 squad 5-3 in exhibition hockey action.
Swiss forward Laurin Liniger scored twice as the Mount Academy’s under-18 squad defeated the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild 8-3 in final game of the night at the Eastlink Centre.

Jelley also scored in Charlottetown’s victory.
Will Morrison and Cole McKeigan each recorded two assists while singles went to Luke Coughlin, Colby Huggan, Harry Clements and Cam MacLean.
Cam Squires, Gus El-Tahhan and Liam Travis scored for the Saints while Cole Burbidge had three assists and Finn Morris chipped in one.
Jack Howatt made 18 saves for the win while Jack Flanagan stopped 53 shots in the loss.
The game was tied 1-1 after the first while the Knights held a 3-2 advantage heading to the third.

Swiss defenceman Timon Moschen and Marc-Antoine Houde, a blue-liner from Quebec, each added a goal and an assist in the Saints’ win.
Justin Roux, Jacob Pelletier, Keefe Marshall and Brayden Uluqsi also scored in the victory. Chris Soo-Robitaille had three helpers while Beren Simard chipped in a pair and singles were credited to
Andrew Bellehumeur, Ryan Gudernatsch, Isaac Tremblay and Maguire Nickerson.
Captain Alex Graham and Kieran Rennie each had a goal and an assist for the Wild while Bates Ling rounded out the scoring.
Avery Brown, Max Sentner and Carson McKay each had an assist.
Loic St. Denis-Lacombe stopped 28 shots for the win while Kiefer Thompson turned aside 44 shots in the loss.
The Saints held 2-0 and 5-1 period leads.
