The death occurred at his residence, Burton Lot 7, on Tuesday February 9, 2021 of Lorne Francis Howard, aged 90 years, loving husband of the late June (MacGregor) Howard. Born at Glengarry on October 8, 1930, son of the late Bennett and Inez (Butler) Howard. Loving Dad to Paul (Amber) Howard, Charlottet­own and grampy to Luke & Abby. Dear brother of Shirley O’Brien, Charlottet­own; Beverley Howard, Glengarry; Stella Gillis Charlottet­own; Wayne, Charlottet­own and Dale (Bonnie MacNeill), Glengarry. Also survived by sisters-in-law Nadine Howard, Burton, Lynne Eager, Charlottet­own; brothers-in-law Jimmie Dalton, Charlottet­own, Ralph Bulger, Dunblane, Frank (Elaine) MacGregor, Sherbrooke, Quebec. Lorne was also a member of the Helping Hands Band. Predecease­d by his parents, wife June (2003), brothers Desmond, Leigh, Marne, sisters Audrey McKenna, Elaine Bulger, brothers in law Carl O’Brien, Gerry Gillis, Cyril McKenna, Bob MacGregor, sister in law Kemi (Doug) Ross, nieces Kelly Gillis, Carlene O’Brien, Beverley Ross, nephews David Bulger and Garth McKenna. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, due to Covid 19, private arrangemen­ts for invited guests will take place on Saturday. Interment in the spring in St. Mark’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Burton Lot 7. In memory of Lorne, donations can be sent directly to St. Mark’s Cemetery or St Mark’s Church c/o Helen Ellsworth P.O.
