FORD, Gary Benson

It is with heavy hearts and much love we announce the passing of Gary Ford, peacefully at his home in Harrington with Kathleen and Penny by his side, on April 13, 2024, age 69. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Hill; loving father to his adored daughter, Penny Ford; cherished stepfather of Rick Hill (Jodie Matheson); Grampy Gary to Mitchell Hill (Jamie) and Hailey Hill (Colton Perry), and their mother Monica Mckay (Sean Armstrong); and great-grandfather to Addison Whalen and Jordan Hill. Gary is survived by his siblings, Myron Ford (Kaye, deceased), Wayne Ford (Faye), Elaine Neil (William), John Mellick (Alberta), Mike (deceased), Martha Ford; and siblings-in-law, Marjorie Morton (Steve), Darlene Waye and Allison Waye. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Norma Waye; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Borden and Tina (Morrow) Ford; and his father-in-law, Douglas Waye. The family would like to give a huge thank you to Dr. Keith Baglole during this time, for his kind words, understanding and support, allowing Gary to remain in his home. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 6-9 p.m. There will be no funeral by personal request.
