Chefs gear up for return of Taco Battles, May 3-11

After a successful inaugural year, Taco Battles is back in Charlottetown with unique taco creations, May 3-11.

This grassroots, chefforward event was developed by Sea City Collective in partnership with Discover Charlottetown.

Charlottetown chefs will be competing head to head with their signature taco dish, featuring modern and innovative twists on the classics. The chef behind the dish with the most votes will be crowned the winner.

"Charlottetown's culinary scene is about to heat up as Taco Battles returns for another thrilling year. We're excited to see the creativity and skill of our local chefs on display, offering diners a wide array of tacos to try out. It's sure to be a delicious competition," says Steve Murphy, co-founder of Sea City Collective.

Taco Battles will showcase more than 25 local restaurants and provide a wide selection of options for diners with various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, glutenfree, vegan and dairy-free. The promotion is designed to be inclusive and accessible to as many restaurants as possible in order to showcase the best that Charlottetown has to offer. All taco dishes are priced at $19 plus taxes.
