Who’s filming in the area this week

Hamilton is off to a good start with filming. “Good Witch,” is filming at LIUNA Station and in Dundas this week at two residentia­l locations.

“Fear Thy Neighbour” is currently shooting on Mt. Albion Road on the east mountain all week and will be filming special effects gunfire late in the week. Neighbours living nearby may here the ‘pop’ or ‘bang’ of gunfire late into the evening or early morning on Thursday or Friday nights.

The television series “Between,” will be filming in Flamboroug­h and Glanbrook this week. The series is about a small town where every 22year-old or older person mysterious­ly dies, leaving the rest of them striving to survive.

The science fiction television series, “Dark Matter,” will be filming in downtown Hamilton as well as at Westfield Heritage Village. Canadian actor David Hewlett stars in the show; he also starred in “Splice,” which was also shot here.

Local production company The Shooting Eye shot the feature film “Red Maple Leaf ” in Hamilton last week. Directed by Frank D’Angelo, this show stars James Caan, Paul Sorvino, Mira Sorvino and Scott Caan.

As the film season picks up, more shows are scouting in the city including “American Gods,” “American Gothic,” “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” and many more.
