CITY PROJECTS

-

City records show at least 11 projects in some stage of development in the heart of Hamilton. They range from 25 rental units in the Templar Flats project on King William Street to 321 units in the Darko Vranich Bella Towers project on Main Street West at Caroline Street. Other projects on the board include: The Connelly, a 259-unit highrise to be melded with the facade of a historic church on James Street South; the 71-unit Acclamation condo project on James North; and 224 units in two phases at the Royal Connaught. A 106-unit plan for the former Tivoli theatre site remains on hold. Not included in that list is Harry Stinson’s recently announced 150-unit project in a former factory at 134 Mary St. home.
