July 20th Cruise-In with Military/Veterans appreciati­on night

July 20th cruise night theme at Pier 4 Park is ‘Our Military Wounded and Veterans Appreciati­on Night’ Supported by: John Weir Foot Armoury – James Street North. It will feature military vehicles including special guests the NorthWall Military M/Cycle Club. Tonight’s on stage entertainm­ent is our answer to Vera Lynn and the Andrew Sisters in a tribute by none other than ‘Sugar & Spice’. Plus our regular intermissi­on singer Viva Venessa. All pre 1980 classic vehicles welcome and those invited special interest vehicles who applied. We have the usual 50/50 draw. Food, ice cream, door prizes, and Cruiser of the night award. The cruise is FREE to enter, but you may like to donate a ‘Loonie’ at the gate for a ticket for a chance to win one of a dozen door prizes called during the evening. All proceeds we raise go to local charities. Gate opens at 4:30 p.m. to Dusk and entry is only by the east entrance. Go to the very bottom of James Street North and Guise Street. Turn left and go straight into the park next to the Leander Boat Club.

The following week cruise night July 27th. Main feature is ‘FORD’s ‘You Can Have Any Color As Long As It Is Black!’ Supported by: Mohawk Ford Dealership
