Perhaps Brexiters can learn from Anglicans

The Hamilton Spectator - - OPINION -

RE: Anglicans battered, but on the side of right (July 16)

As a retired Anglican Cleric of Niagara Diocese, The Spectator’s front page reporting of the LBGT marriage resolution by our national governing body has been riveting. Not only do I support my Diocese’s stand to include same-sex unions as marriages, I agree with the Bishop of Ottawa who is reported as saying: “It is time, my friends. It is past time.” Perhaps the Brexit vote will take a cue from the recount of our parliament’s decision and straighten up the mess their referendum has created.

The Reverend Canon Paddy Doran, Hamilton
