ROBIN BENEDICT

Robin Benedict’s raspy voice has made her a blues-rock favourite in the Hamilton club scene. Benedict is releasing a new album, “Dance Away the Darkness,” with a show Saturday, July 23, at the Bay City Music Hall, 50 Leander Dr. Joining Benedict are The Donefors, and Leonard, Burns and Dell. Doors open 7:30 p.m. $20 admission.

ADI BRAUN

A cabaret singer, Toronto’s Adi Braun performs great jazz standards, plus songs from her fourth album “Canadian Scenes.” Braun performs Sunday, July 24, at 7 p.m., at the memorial Jim Green Bandshell (named this month for a beloved volunteer and local historian who died in 2015) behind the Fieldcote Museum in Ancaster, 64 Sulphur Springs Rd. Admission is free.

SCOTT HELMAN

Canadian teen sensation Scott Helman is best known for his hit “Bungalow.” The Juno-nominated pop star will be one of the performers Monday, July 25, at a benefit for the family of late Hamilton singer Vincenzo Benenati. Also: Monster Truck (acoustic), Tomi Swick, Adam E. White, The Zilis, Mellisa Marchese. At Club Absinthe, 38 King William St. Doors open at 6 p.m. $25.

STEVE STRONGMAN

Hamilton’s Steve Strongman is one of the top blues guitarists in Canada, winning a Juno in 2013 as well as three Maple Blues Awards. He’s a double threat — electric and acoustic — and you can see him in the lovely outdoor setting of the Royal Botanical Garden’s Hendrie Park on Wednesday, July 27, at 6 p.m. The concert is free with admission to the park.
