Robber caught breaking into working business

A 32-year-old Hamilton man was arrested after breaking into a business in the city’s industrial sector while employees were inside.

Police were called to Canadian Liquids Processors Limited at 15 Biggar Ave., east of Sherman Avenue North, just after midnight Monday for a break-in in progress.

Once the man got into the business and saw employees, police said he hid behind some skids.

Police arrested the man, and contents belonging to the business were recovered.

Lawrence White, 32, is facing charges including committing break and enter, possession under $5,000 and disobeying a court order.

White will appear before the courts. His bail was opposed.
