The Brits and Europeans are invading the waterfront Wednesday August 10. At least their vehicle are invading. British and European makes, models and all years will be featured at Rockin’ The Waterfront cruise Wednesday Aug. 10. The event is presented by Lubricare Tire and Automotive Services Hamilton and co-hosted by British Saloon Car Club, Southern Ontario. The event is open to North American classics from before 1980.

The onstage entertainm­ent will be provided by Linda Ronstadt & Friends tribute band, along with the event’s intermissi­on singer Viva Venessa.

Prizes for cruiser soft he night area B& S Die-cast model company, 50/50 draw and Avon Cosmetics Beauty basket to be won each week. There are also door prize tickets winners all evening. Hot food, cold ice cream and great music for everyone. Please bring a chair and dance the night away in the large dance area.

The cruise commences at 4:30 pm and runs to dusk. The weather so far this year has been wonderful, but cruise-ins can be cancelled when rain threatens, so check our website schedule date www.rockinthew­aterfront.ca or call 226-934-3566 shortly beforehand to be sure the event is still on.

The cruise is held at Pier 4 Park at the bottom of James Street North, Hamilton. Turn left straight into the park. There is also free public parking prior to the main gate.
