The Hamilton Spectator

Attitudes still deeply rooted in the 1950s

RE: LRT

-

Why does the Spec continue to print letters discussing LRT that at some point say, “How about spending a billion dollars on ...” as though it were a raffle of ideas, and there just might be a better idea out there if only someone would send it in? It’s really counterproductive to moving the city forward. The same can be said for comments like “I can’t fathom the need to travel to ...” and it doesn’t matter what the end point is ... they just can’t fathom it, and it’s not surprising coming from thinking that is STILL deeply rooted in the ’50s, as they so often like to point out. Let’s all move forward. Steven Soloduk, Hamilton
