Pasuta back as chair of conservation authority

Coun. Robert Pasuta has been acclaimed for a third term as chair of the Hamilton Conservation Authority board.

Pasuta was first appointed to the authority’s board of directors in 2007 as a city council member.

Santina Moccio, a citizen member of the board of directors, was acclaimed a vice-chair for a third term. Moccio was first appointed to the board in 2011.

Maria Topalovic was also re-acclaimed as chair of the Conservation Advisory Board.

In addition, Lisa Burnside has been named conservation authority’s new chief administrative officer.

Burnside was the director of human resources with the HCA before accepting the new post.
