Man found around youths arrested for probation breach

A 25-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested for failing to comply with a probation order to stay away from children. Police say they were dispatched to a home on Barton Street East near Balmoral Avenue North Saturday night just before 9 p.m. What had been reported to them as a break-in turned out to be a false alarm — but they did find a “number of disorderly youths.” While investigating, officers determined that the one man there was under a probation order to stay away from people under 16 years old. The man was arrested and became “disorderly” with police, they say. Cody Fisher, 25, was charged with two counts of failing to comply with probation, failing to comply with probation in relation to children, and mischief under $5,000.
