Job description: Along with two partners, Joel Collins, and Lucas Prominski, I am responsible for the operation and growth of the office. I tailor insurance coverage for my clients’ homes, vehicles, businesses, as well as any special risks.
Is this the job you thought you’d be doing?
I always had the feeling I would find my way back to insurance, now I’m here and I love it.
Advice to others on launching a career: Do it! Risk brings reward, but be prepared to follow through. No one will walk up and hand you the career of your dreams, you have to create your own plan and execute it.
Roots: I grew up in Hamilton but moved to Toronto for university. I moved back as soon as I graduated. With everything Hamilton has to offer, my fiancée and I are looking forward to building our future here.

Best feature of life in Hamilton: The people. I am always amazed by the amount of startups and small-to-medium business owners I come across in Hamilton. There is such a great energy in the city, it is fantastic.
What would make Hamilton a better city: With the amount of developments going on, and upcoming projects I am looking forward to what the city will look like the coming years. It’s great that more and more people are coming to call Hamilton home.
