Locke St. bank robbery suspect still at large

Detectives continue to search for the suspect in a bank robbery on Locke Street South.

Hamilton police say a man threatened someone in the RBC Bank at Locke Street South and Main Street West and demanded money shortly before 4:30 p.m. on April 20. The man managed to get cash from the victim and ran off. Police did not say if the victim was a bank teller or a customer.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s who is about six feet tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, red mask, dark pants and a bright-coloured constructi­on vest.
