OTHER FINDINGS
Hamilton CMA has a high occupancy rate at 96 per cent. That compares to a national average of 91.3 per cent and provincial average of 92.3 per cent. The number suggests the high demand for housing in Hamilton has meant very few residential properties are vacant, analysts say.
Row housing has dramatically increased to 13.5 per cent of housing stock compared to 9.6 per cent in 1996 in Hamilton.
