Is Ontario really that gullible?

RE: Provincial budget

-

Suddenly, it’s raining money from Queen’s Park. Kathleen Wynne is trying to convince the voters in Ontario that things can be better and she, along with Charles Sousa, have found another pot of gold with which to buy another election.

Do they really think that the public is really that gullible? One has to be a Liberal sycophant to believe that Wynne and Sousa will actually balance the budget in this fiscal year. When this province is over $311 billion dollars in debt and counting, not even a financial wizard would say that he or she would be able to balance the budget, unless you rob Peter to pay Paul.

Sousa promises to give the health-care system another $7 billion over the next three years. Where is this money coming from? Perhaps he should insist that the various hospitals with bloated bureaucracies and overpaid CEO’s not get any of that borrowed money.

Abraham Lincoln said: “You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all the time.” Words that Wynne and Sousa should keep in mind. Hans Schmiedeberg, Burlington
