Hamilton woman killed in QEW crash named

Ontario Provincial Police have identified the Hamilton woman who was killed in a crash on the QEW in Burlington late Wednesday night. Marcia Sigeti, 61, died in hospital following the two-vehicle crash in the westbound lanes at Guelph Line around 9:30 p.m.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said Sigeti’s vehicle was was speeding before the collision, which caused her vehicle to roll several times. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the collision reconstruction unit.
