Thank you police, firefighters, paramedics

RE: First responders

I felt I had to write a note to say “thanks” to the police, firefighters, paramedics for the hard work they do.

Every profession has bad apples who ruin it for the other hard-working individuals.

I witnessed just that recently on my way to work when a person on a bike had been hit by a vehicle. I watched a police officer lie down on the ground to comfort the injured person, staying there until the ambulance/paramedics arrived. Let’s face it, these people see and do things the normal average citizen wouldn’t want to see or do. If you’re one of those first responders and reading this, thank you! You so deserve it.
