Police find cocaine, ecstasy at Burlington home
BURLINGTON — A man is facing drug-trafficking and possession charges after police seized about $1,280 worth of cocaine and ecstasy.
Police arrested the man Wednesday on suspicion he was in possession of drugs, said Halton police. When police searched him, they allegedly found 3.5 grams of cocaine. A subsequent search of his home on Belvenia Road, near New Street and Walkers Line, uncovered 5.2 grams of cocaine, 59 MDMA (ecstasy) pills and $1,055 crash, police said.
Calvin James Pepper, 27, of Burlington is charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking. He is to appear in Milton court June 13.
