Canadian memories
RE: Canada at 150 (special sections June 24)
If I were a betting woman, I’d put every last dollar on the fact that my Spec’s depiction of this prestigious event was the finest in the country. Can’t imagine how many hours by so many talented people went into this production and they must all be so justifiably proud of their efforts. I remember so vividly joining the crowds on King Street in 1959 to see Her Majesty drive by and, as an aside, eventually learning that she and I were both “expecting”; hence our sons Andrew and Ian.
