Grants for vulnerable adults needed
RE: Crucial $12.5 M will support the vulnerable (June 22) Certainly, the $12.5 million provincial funding announcement for improved access to services for vulnerable adults was a positive and strong advance in the right direction. The need is certainly there. Urgent housing requirements and the careful co-ordination of vulnerable adults with services and programs are critical priorities. However, the human face that underscores these needs and haunts any caring person belongs to Guy Mitchell. He should never have died, nor should he have lived in such terrible conditions. It must not happen again.
