police are searching for three people who used a hammer to smash the front glass door of a Stoney Creek yoga studio and stole approximately $20,000 in clothing.

The break-in and theft at Moksha Yoga at 270 Mud St. W. happened Saturday shortly before 11:30 a.m., police said.

The thieves all had their faces covered. The stolen clothing was made by Lululemon. The incident was captured on camera. Police believe all three thieves are adult men and that they used a stolen vehicle as a getaway car.

The break, enter, auto theft and robbery (BEAR) unit is investigating, including examining whether the break-in is linked to similar incidents at this and other Moksha locations.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Lisa Chapman at 905-5468936. To provide information anonymously, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-2228477.
