It’s a sad day for Dundas

RE: Dundas alley will be sold (June 29)

I am very disappointed in our city council in the decision made in the dispute of the alleyway between Alma and Victoria streets. I find it very upsetting and worrisome that the opinions of one man was listened to, while those of the many people present at the council meeting were not. For our elected officials to act in this matter does not reflect that they are acting on behalf of the people. Rather, they are embracing one member who happens to own some real estate. I trust we will remember this fiasco when election time comes around. It’s a sad day for Dundas. Tina Vandenburg, Dundas
