Arrest made in armed convenience store robbery
A Hamilton man is facing a robbery charge in relation to a convenience store holdup last month.
Hamilton police thanked the public for helping to identify a suspect after sharing surveillance photos from the crime.
The robbery happened June 25 around 9:30 a.m. after a lone man entered Danny’s Convenience Store, at 1000 Upper Gage Ave., armed with an “edged weapon” and demanded money.
No one was hurt and the suspect fled on foot before police arrived.
Robert Kerr, 37, was arrested July 4 and is charged with one count of robbery.
