Uber driver accused of sexual assault in Oakville

OAKVILLE — An Uber driver has been charged with sexually assaulting a passenger in Oakville.

Halton police say the alleged assault involving a “young female passenger” happened in June.

On Monday, police charged Ansar Ali, 33, of Toronto with one count of sexual assault and breach of probation.
